Lakeland Records Ltds - First Exclusive DVD Project 2009
The first exclusive DVD project is now officially in the pipeline for Lakeland Records Ltd. The project will be entitled "The Audio/Visual Passages" This full blown digital experience is set to launch in early 2009. The production will feature a whole host of UK & International artists who have previously featured on the promo CD compilations series. The music and visuals will be a unique and diverse multimix of genres. Stay Tuned!!

Lakeland Records Limited UK - News Since opening it's doors in June/July 2007 Independent record label Lakeland Records limited have gone from strength to strength releasing its debut Compilation Promo CD in Sept closely followed by Promo CD 2 in Oct and finally Promo CD 3 just in time for Christmas. Each CD contains a wide variety of 20 UK and international artists and a multimix of genres. Work is currently underway to compile and release the fourth and final CD in this unique set of four, with a provisional release date of Feb/March 2008. The promos are all available to download from itunes and other various digital download sites on the internet, or to purchase on amazon.co.uk by typing Lakeland Records in the search box. The promos are also receieving radio airplay up and down the length and breadth of the UK and beyond. To compliment the popular Compilation Promo series, Lakeland Records Limited are now signing and releasing individual artists too with their CDs readily available from both on and offline retailers. They have also recently added a full blown ecommerce online store to the webiste to sell individual artists CDs. The Lakeland Records Limited Website has officially launced, Lakeland Records are an exciting new Record Label based in Kendal, Cumbria UK. Masterminded by electronic solo artist “David John Duckworth” they are currently looking for original Demo Submissions from local bands and anyone, anywhere, around the globe, (but no cover versions please) to be pre-selected for an exciting new promo CD compilation release set for 2007/2008. This is an ideal opportunity and offers some great exposure for unsigned artists and bands alike to be featured on the new website when it goes live. OMD are to embark on an extended UK tour in June of this year following the Architecture & Morality tour in May. this series of concerts will see the band performing a unique set different from the Architecture & Morality setlist. I've been fortunate enough to obtain a ticket myself for one of the Gigs, it's almost as exciting as the build up to Kraftwerks 2004/05 world tour, but then again erm maybe not!, meanwhile OMD have now set up an official MySpace presence here: www.myspace.com/officialomdmyspace. ONLY IN DREAMS WILL FEATURE ON THE KID ANTRIM PROMO CD FOR 2007: The promotional copy of the Kid Antrim Music compilation in category <Easy Listening> will officially feature the track "Only In Dreams" Originally featured as track 3 on the Scenario 1 - 'Devoted to Sound' project of 1990. The track has now been digitally remastered and re- polished to breathe new life into this electro 3 minute classic. The Official release date for this comp is July or August 2007. Only In Dreams can only be described as A fast paced electronic love song about the hurt pain and suffering caused when a relationship is in deep and troubled waters, an emotional roller coaster ride without the buffers to cushion the blow, but despite all the trauma an acceptance of compromise is apparent. BLACK COAT - PROMO VIDEO 2006 A promo video of the song Black Coat was shot at Nobles Rest in Kendal Cumbria on the 28/09/06, the guy behind the camera was Bob Grayson from earlier LCX 9 fame who kindly gave up his services in his lunch break to shoot the 5 minute monochrome classic. We had some strange looks from varying passers by especially when I was laid on the grass covered in rose petals. Feel free to check out the video yourselves by clicking on the button below. KID ANTRIM PROMO CD - 2006/2007 Following up on the succesful release of Dreaming from the TPOAC CD 2004 by Kid Antrim Music of New York, another four tracks have been submitted last month, for a possible inclusion on their latest edition of the KAM Comp CD thats scheduled for the end of 2006 or the beginning of 2007. The words are from a poem of Brians that's featured in his book called "Collected Love Poems" I have always admired Brians work and feel really thrilled & honoured to be allowed the exclusive use of his words on one of my tracks.
